In the first quarter of 2025, the hypercasual gaming market on iOS in the United States showcased intriguing trends, with several top games making notable impressions. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading titles, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Block Blast! by Hungry Studio saw a significant start with over 1.3M downloads in the opening week of January. However, downloads gradually declined, settling at around 438K by the end of March. The game maintained a strong user base, peaking at approximately 7.3M weekly active users in February before experiencing a gradual drop to about 6.1M.

Perfect Tidy from ABI GLOBAL LTD. experienced a steady decline in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads started at 384K, decreasing to around 158K by the end of the quarter. Revenue saw a consistent decline from $31.6K in January to $10.9K by March. Active users also followed a downward trend, starting at 1.1M and ending at 682K.

Vita Mahjong by Vita Studio maintained a stable performance in terms of downloads, starting at 179K and closing the quarter with 150K. Revenue remained relatively consistent, fluctuating around $5K to $7K throughout the quarter. The game showed a rise in active users, reaching 470K by the end of March.

Revenue remained steady, fluctuating between $16K and $23K. The game also experienced growth in active users, starting at 291K and rising to 370K by the end of March.
